No.
I’ll be home like some of my other pals. We will all be dominating the interwebs while you drink your cocktails and listen to the Danny tell you the SEO Secrets of the universe.
This is all it takes now a days. Alot of SEO bloggers are going to be upset that I let this information go - but I think its only right that everyone gets the fair chance to be a blogging superstar & be one of the popular kids at the SEO conference lunch tables!!!!
1) Find an SEO Blog listed on the “Power 150” & go back to some of their earlier posts. Simply rewrite them in your own words and publish.
2) Find a great unique post on an SEO blog - Link to it and use block quotes to basically redisplay the entire post on your site & write your own commentary on it!
3) Sphinn your own stories and then just begin to IM and Email every person you know asking for a sphinn.
4) Go onto “twitter” and add as many SEO people as you can - then each time you blog write something like “New Post up on Sphinn” with a link to the sphinn post.
5) Write about twitter. Anything you want - it doesn’t even have to have anything to do with twitter. But just mention twitter in the title. (Twitter can be substituted for the current cool thing that SEO’s are talking about - you can usually tell what this is by either every speaker at a conference talking about it or there being at least 3-5 posts on the Sphinn front page about it)
6) Repeat.
Holy shit that was easy! Now you are an SEO blog rock star! This formula has worked for so many ( & is still working to this day ) - it is my pleasure to share it with you!
Everytime a blogger writes a post about “twitter” - a kitten dies & the hole in the o-zone layer increases by 10%.
Even worse, every time a twitter post hits the front page of sphinn nuclear waste leaks into our drinking water.
I am sorry that I just killed a kitten & made the hole bigger - but the public needs to know.
Do your part & make sure that this post does not reach the front page of sphinn.
a couple of my buddies comment on the fact that i do not blog that often.
its simple - i never see any real need to. everything else is covered and the stuff that isn’t covered shouldn’t be (if that makes any sense)
i know when not to blog.
does the world need another top ten list? does the world need another “quick ways to SEO your website”, post? does the world need another post talking about buying links? does the world need another post proclaiming how amazing social media is?
no.
so believe me - when i think of something useful i will happily post it or when i get something useful to post i will post it.
on the upside i have contacted a SEO who i would like to interview - if he agrees that will be the next post.
until then.
