Ok as much as I keep shit to myself but here is some SEO shit to keep up with my 20% useful information. This was the 5th shit that Mr. Cutts said in his 5 tips to get your websites on Google.
5. Register for free tools.
Google’s google.com/webmaster offers freebies to help get your site found. You can upload a text-based site map, which shows Google the pages of your site (create it at www.xml-sitemaps.com). Once that’s done, you’ll be registered with Google, where you can learn vital statistics — including who is linking to your site and how often Google “crawls” your site for updates.
Google’s Local Business center (google.com/local/add) is the place for business owners to submit a site so it shows up in local searches, with a map attached. Savvy consumers who use Google for searches know that the first 10 non-advertising results often are from Google Maps, so if you have a business and haven’t submitted it, you’re losing out on potential customers.
Now this was the only crap that stood out to me. Why? Cause I hear a lot of people saying “We don’t submit a sitemap to google.” or “Why do we want Google having our analytical information - so we don’t use Google Analytics.” Wake up fuckers. Personally I look at it like this; the more Google shit I can get onto my site or get my site involved with then i’m all about it. Why? Cause Google is the big dog & I would not put it past those fuckers that this shit could all count towards the organic ranking system. Lets face it MSN sucks & Yahoo is sucking more and more daily. So next time when you think you are ‘leet and not using every Google thing possible - think again - you could be screwing yourself or your clients.
If you disagree with me and you don’t have an email address that ends @google.com - then shut up and keep it moving.
