So I am getting sick of Internet Marketers dropping names of people who they are sitting next to on airplanes discussing blogging or just speaking random bullshit and seeing how many internet marketers names they can jam into one article.
“ohh you mention me on your blog and I will mention you on mine.”
“ohhh so and so said this on his blog so let me write a blog about it and basically say the same shit and sphinn it”
This is stupid and its why half of the articles on social sites like sphinn or any of the other article sites never get read, the internet marketing community is turning into nothing more then a large popularity contest! Not that it hasnt been this way for months and years anyway, I guess its at the point where its finally really starting to piss me off.
The best blog or marketing article will probably never get any attention because its going to be written by someone who nobody knows and someone who doesn’t have pictures with matt cutts on their blog or hasn’t spoke at a convention. Out of the internet marketing “heavy-weights” I respect 2 of them. which I will keep to myself in order to not contradict myself. (which also happens greatly in the internet marketing blog world, but that is another rant)
